Chair
Seasoned technology executive, business strategist, author, and mentor who currently serves as Group Chief Information Officer (GCIO) of Dangote Industries Limited. A graduate of Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University with an MBA from Lagos Business School, he rose through the ranks at Telnet Nigeria Limited to Group Managing Director before joining Dangote. He mentors young entrepreneurs through Ventures Platform and co-authored Vacancy — You Are Urgently Needed.
Bunmi Oyinsan, PhD
Executive Director
Nigerian-Canadian scholar, author, and pan-African cultural educator with over thirty years of experience in community programming, television production, and cultural education. Holds a PhD in Gender and Women's Studies from York University and is the author of A Ladder of Bones (Guernica Editions, 2025). Founder of Sankofa Pan African Series and Sankofastorybooks.com, whose digital education platforms has reached over 100,000 subscribers and 5.5 million views.
Soji Oyinsan

Veteran documentary filmmaker and former Assistant Director of Programmes at the Nigerian Television Authority. Served as the Nigerian Producer of The Africans: A Triple Heritage, the landmark BBC/PBS/NTA documentary series, and trained at the Thomson Foundation in Scotland. Brings decades of experience in public broadcasting and documentary production across Africa and internationally.

Chairs the Board of Trustees of the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Lagos and is a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR). Founder and current president of Women in Film and TV Nigeria (FWIFT).

Henry E. Amaobi
Principal/Head of School
Henry E. Amaobi is Head of School at Lekki Peninsula College, bringing over 13 years of teaching experience to the role. He holds a B.Sc. in Plant Science and Biotechnology, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and is a recognised expert in the Cambridge curriculum. Mr. Amaobi has a deep passion for mathematics and hands-on science education, believing students learn best through direct engagement with real projects and experiments. Outside the classroom, he channels that same curiosity into research, staying closely engaged with new developments in teaching and learning.
Adedotun A. Idris
Vice Principal (Academics)
Adedotun A. Idris serves as Vice Principal, Academics, at Lekki Peninsula College, with over 6 years of teaching experience. He holds a B.Ed. in Social Studies Education and is TRCN certified. A social science educator at heart, Mr. Idris draws on a broad background across political science, history, and sociology to bring depth and context to his teaching. His dedication to the classroom runs so deep that teaching itself remains his favourite way to spend his time, both in and out of school hours.
Seazarh A. Michael

Seazarh A. Michael serves as VP Admin at Lekki Peninsula College, with over 10 years of teaching experience. He holds a B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering (GMNSE) and brings a strong technical foundation to his work, with a particular passion for process improvement, mathematics, physics, and computing. Outside of school, Mr. Seazarh enjoys reading, coding, sports, and travelling.

Ruth Akintade, ACIA, is a Chartered Administrator with over 15 years of experience in administration and education. She has served as Head of Administration at Lekki Peninsula College since 2021. Ruth holds certifications in Digital Marketing from Google and Meta, is a member of the Google Developer community, and has completed professional training in safeguarding, child protection, and caregiving. Beyond her administrative role, she is a poet with a strong interest in digital technology and lifelong learning.

She holds an NCE along with specialized training in Montessori and Early Childhood Education, giving her a strong foundation in nurturing young learners through their earliest and most formative school years. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading and staying active through sport.
